Britney Spears was outraged after fans called 911 to delete her Instagram account

Britney Spears was anything but thrilled to have sheriff’s deputies knocking on his door close to midnight … all thanks to a few fans who thought their favorite singer might be in danger.

Sources close to Spears tell Us that the Brit was “flustered” after the surprise visit. We’re told she understands how deeply her fans care about her and her well-being, so she wasn’t entirely surprised that things got to the point of law enforcement getting involved, but it was awkward nonetheless.

TMZ broke the story, Ventura County Sheriff’s Office deputies visited Britney at his Thousand Oaks home Tuesday night around 11 p.m. to conduct a welfare check.

Law enforcement sources told us they received several calls from fans concerned about Britney’s safety after she deleted her Instagram account.

We should note that Britney has deleted her IG many times before, and our sources say he did it again, this time for no real reason… sometimes he just feels like it.

The incident comes days after Britney announced that she is change his name To River Red on IG.

TMZ broke the story, Britney and her husband, Sam AsghariJoey recently went out to dinner in Woodland Hills — but the night went awry — witnesses tell us Britney was acting “manic” until Sam left.

The video, obtained by TMZ, showed the singer alone at a couple of tables and milling about undistracted.
